The space is cosy without feeling cramped, making it just as suitable for relaxed family meals as it is for casual catch-ups with friends.

The menu is thoughtfully put together, offering a mix of hearty rice bowls and crowd-pleasing Japanese small plates. One of the highlights is the Una Don Roasted Eel Rice Bowl, which stands out for its rich, savoury flavour and satisfying texture. The eel is well-balanced with rice, creating a dish that feels indulgent yet comforting. Families can dine comfortably, while couples and solo diners still enjoy a calm, welcoming setting. What customers say?

“ Pretty small neat restaurant. Nice decor. Very reasonably priced. Staffs were well mannered with smiles all along. The pork dumplings are very nice and done fresh. I had the Den Den Mien with mince and vegies which was a bit spicy and the black pepper chicken rice was also spicy but nice. They also have ramen that is not hot. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and hope you all will have the same dining experience. ”

“ I ordered a delivery on uber eats last night from this place and I’ve never received food that’s been packed with so much care. The packaging it came in looked amazing and everything was perfect even though it took thirty mins from when it left the restaurant. The food was very tasty aswel, the kaarage was so juicy and tender. Attention to detail with company’s has often been lost since COVID and this place is hitting the ball out the park. Keep up the good work. I took photos of the packaging I was so impressed. Also there was really good specials on uber eats so the meal was very affordable. ”

“ Had a great night with friends. Excellent Food and service! The best yakitori (I hope it is the right name) ever had in Brisbane. I strongly recommend the salmon with rice. It was lovely and yummy! Btw the owner is very nice and staff is friendly and professional. I would definitely return and recommend this as a place for dining. ”

“ First time coming and the service was superb. They provided a baby chair and baby cutlery and plastic plate and plastic glass. The hot ramen was delicious and the original tontaktsu. The grilled chicken too. We usually go all the way to champion ramen but this one was very good too. Nice prices and flavours. Hot ramen lots of garlic and flavoursome. Original nice not salty or overloaded with flavours good for thise who like rich but simple. ”

“ Good experience for us. Food was decent! Lots of avo but we didn't like that sashimi was swimming in a bowl of syrup and had to remove most of it before dining. I suggest just putting that heavy syrup in a separate cup instead? ”

“ My family and I had a great dining experience here. The menu is not complicated but we still had a nice selection of items to choose from. The ramen, rice dishes, and sides are all fantastic. The best part about our experience is the staff’s hospitality to all the families and their children in the restaurant. There were 3 other families with children all dining at the same time and the staff were patient and hospitable. We appreciate little touches like plastic cutlery and cups for children. ”
